Through Feb. 29 • Vote Daily for Assistant Manager of Harrison's Harbor Watch, Nikki Godman, Who Has Been Nominated for Manager of the Year in the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s Annual Awards
Nikki has been with Harrison’s Harbor Watch since 2007, working her way up from a busser and server to a line cook, Kitchen Manager, and now Assistant Restaurant Manager. The reason for the nomination is last summer, she saved the life of an 88-year-old guest by performing CPR when the guest was having a medical emergency. Nikki is the only Eastern Shore employee/business represented and we're hoping the community will support. | Newspaper article

St. Mary Star of the Sea/Holy Savior Catholic Church volunteers are making welcome bags for incoming J-1 students and request donations to fill the bags.

Maryland Tax Connect, New Online Portal for Maryland Business Taxpayers, is Now Open
Maryland has the most antiquated state tax system in the country. Maryland Tax Connect is a self-service portal that will allow taxpayers to file their taxes online with increased ease and security.

Open to trade only; no one under 21! This tradeshow features more than 420 exhibits and is the largest gathering of the mid-Atlantic hospitality industry. Keynote speaker Brian Blasko will deliver “Recipe for Reinventing Your Workforce” on Monday, March 4 at 9am. In addition to exhibits showcasing the newest trends, products, and services on the market, there will be educational sessions and demos.
